Yessir couldn't agree more. He's definitely a work horse, I'm sure this off season the gym will get tired of him lol. He's not even coming home for Christmas, I guess hes just focused on the bowl game. But I told him he could maybe come a little before Christmas and head back, but i don't know we'll see. GBO!I love his size and speed combo. He should help us with tough yards as well the ability to bust off big plays. We really need him to emerge, I hope he and the rest of the team put in the work in the off season. I am sure pulling for him. Tennessee has had some great backs over the years and Seldon has the great power band speed combo that remind me of some of our greater backs. If he has the vision and shift to go along with the power and speed watch out. GBO
If you want to eliminate 90% of the quality posts on this site, and @Weezer's and @Jackcrevol's posts too, then go for it. Your loss, Byron.I could put you, Weez and Jack on ignore and then I'd be only 1.5 pages behind
Happy Birthday @Glitch !For my birthday, I would like for everyone that feels the need to whine and complain incessantly about the state of recruiting or the football program in general to shut the heck up and enjoy life for 24 hours. That isn't too much to ask is it?
Thank you for the birthday wishes.
I mean, why would you go to Texas.
Texas returns 4 of the 5 most productive WR's, including the top 2 who combines for 124 catches, over 1700 yards and 15 td's.
We return 2 of our 5 most productive WR's. Who are Squirrel White and Dont'e Thornton.
I know NIL money talks, but it seems like he would a lot less competition here to be the guy and have an impactful final season.
Wells would be a really big piece. We need elite talent at the WR position. We have an elite prospect at the QB position that we all hope should pan out. Key pieces from the offensive line should be back (awaiting the decision by Mays). Bru McCoy could return aswell.Tennessee has a lot to sell Wells and maybe we lock him up on his visit this weekend, but a few things about Texas. Their top three WR’s (Worthy, Mitchell, and Whittington) are all going pro after this year. Mitchell was a transfer from UGA and has 10 TD’s this season so Wells can see that a newcomer can be immediately integrated into the offense. It is also likely that Quinn Ewers is returning for another year at QB (compared to an Uber talented but unproven Nico). Another minor factor is that a former teammate and friend of Wells from JMU transferred to Texas two years ago and will be selling him on the experience. Finally, Texas is in the CFP and has a lot of recruiting momentum right now.
Again, we have a lot to sell him, but this is going to be a struggle and a big win if we can get him on board.
