So?..Heupel then turned a garbage pile VT reject into a Heisman contender.

Nobody could "fix" Joe Milton if Heupel couldn't...but with all that prodigious talent I don't blame him for trying. Joe just vapor locks when the lights go on.

He did maximize Hooker. Now he needs to use the portal to maximize our defense. I've previously stated, we do fine with offense. Bru, Thornton will work out if he stays, McCastles.... Offense is not the problem. We need to better our defense.

With Oklahoma and Texas coming to the SEC and Washington, Oregon, UCLA, and USC going to the Big10.....teams are going to beat up on each other. Going to be several great teams that are 10/2/9-3/8-4.

You need to unclench your anus. This isn't your "idiot margin". Read the entire conversation rather than snapshot posts. Or defense needs serious help and we've been ignoring it. People keep wanting to say we don't have talent or depth at LB or in the secondary. The portal is the way to fix that, yet we continue to ignore it.

A bad recruiter doesn't have 70% ratios, which is better than all but a very few....period.


I just watched Heupel take over a nuked program and a gutted roster and miraculously nearly make the playoffs...he will recruit well enough to do that again.

Again not true. The defense is just as good. We haven’t had a guy as good as Knecht or a guy as good as gainey coming off the bench and JJJ is playing the best of his career

We’ve scored 80+ in 6 games so far, last year to this point we had 3 games with 80+ and only 9 total

i’m 100% on board with Heupel….. doesn’t mean you can’t discuss perceived deficiencies/concerns…. you are way too emotional trying to discuss sports.
