How does any of this translate into him leaving
Not sure that any of us know for sure if he is or isn't. Really no need in him posting such a cryptic photo on insta. But you are the one asking the question, "how does this translate into him leaving?" So it crossed your mind, right? The GA fans are in an uproar. The comments on the original tweet (copied underneath) saying that many will be leaving.

High enough to consider NFL...?..

2nd or 3rd I assume Guards arent treasured nearly as bad as Tackles ...
Always based on team needs and priorities. No matter what the NFL Draft Advisory Board tells you, it boils down to the aforementioned and how you fare at the Underwear Olympics and Pro Days. If your right buttock doesn’t bend at the ideal angle (cue Glitch), that could cost you a round or three. If Tate does declare, one would think starting for these UGA teams would net you a floor of fourth round. But Jamaree Salyer was way more accomplished in 2022 and ended up a sixth rounder.

No, I would not consider the poster to be someone in the know. The insta is factual.

Here's a youtube video, Boogie Bentley, talking about this very topic.

Then all "win now" levels and goals are not the same. UT is paying marquee coaches Top 10 salaries, slightly below Bama and UGA and more than some playoff teams. UT's football recruiting budget is Top 5. UGA and Bama outspend UT but not by much. I'm sure UT feels it is paying for good decision making-- and expects to get it, along with results.

I ask this question in earnest, as I am genuinely curious your thoughts, but if we have a Top 5 recruiting budget but are not getting even Top 10 results with this staff, is that reason for concern? If the money is there but the results are not, what is the problem?

You have done well today, comrade.

One of the reasons is that resources don't work like that. UT spending more money is necessary because UT has some recruiting disadvantages compared to some of the big dogs. Geography. Talent distribution compared to distance from other major programs. The state of the UT program over the last 10 years specifically. It's similar to arguing why does a company running an oil rig in Texas spend more money but not get more oil compared to the oil companies in the Middle East. That is not to say that the coaches couldn't be doing some things better to improve recruiting. They are certainly not flawless. But it is not a direct money spent=certain recruiting ranking results.
