All young men may be motivated by different things. This is the second straight year entering the portal. This doesn’t mean he hates Tennessee or is against us, but does mean he is looking for something else. Additionally a second straight portal trip may have been enough for us. Hard to knock him if he feels as if this is best for him. That being said, I wish him luck but if you aren’t with us, the you are against us.

Do you think that hit was ok from a player safety perspective? I don't and think the ejection was warranted. It should not matter what the precedent is. If the official feels like it is excessive, the player should be ejected.

He led with the shoulder and targeted the ball. He intentionally moved his helmet out of the play, which is the main reason I say to let him stay in the game.

The WR was fully extended laying out. In full speed, that's really difficult for a defender who's targeting the ball to perfectly time and position his hit. I don't think an ejection was warranted. You're basically saying any player who is fully extended can't be hit at all by the defender in front of him.
