Between then and now, he gained a huge ranking jump into the Top 10 in TN as a 4-star. In came the offers and interest from bigger schools. You were *crickets*.
He commits to Mizzou signing day eve and you contort it into a loss and indictment on the staff. Saying we got "beat" for a top notch recruit.
If you're going to be something, be consistent. Other than consistently Eeyore.
It's totally plausible that, considering we are super close on our numbers, JS was a contingency option if McCoy didn't commit. It's possible his drama-queen handler was more trouble than he's worth, or was asking for more money than he's worth.
Without a definitive statement from someone who knows the situation intimately, how can we say (or believe) Mizzou swooped in and stole him rather than we didn't want him that badly to begin with?
