Great work!!! In the 90s we used to brag about being in the top 3 for so many great players. Our name was constantly mentioned all over the country. We could not depend on getting just players from in the state and had to compete with the home schools. We got enough even though we missed on most. Worked well.

Love it!!! Sorry for the confusion. I was just a cheerleader in high school. Went to tryouts at MTSU and would have probably made it but then they said we had to stay all weekend. No way was I not going home to see my boyfriend (hubby)! It wasn’t TN after all! I just put cheerleader in there because someone thought they were insulting me saying I was a cheerleader.

I believe they compete in the ACC now for football. Or at least I thought they did.

They have an agreement to play so many ACC teams but they cannot play in an ACC conference championship. The only exception being Covid year.

I've always thought ND should be a Big 10 school.

I've always thought ND should close down their overrated pile of garbage football program.

I think the bigger issue may be not casting a wide enough net. All of our top DL targets turned us down. By the time that happened, we had failed to make inroads with new targets because we were solely focused on certain guys, like we were convinced we would get who we wanted. McKinley just recently fell in our laps because of the staff change at TAMU. Maybe we can reach out to their other DL prospect that didn't sign either, if the staff likes him. But there needed to be more targets on the board, IMO.

I agree, I think the net has to be bigger, as well. With that said though, it's been talked about, Heupel looks at a certain type of kid. A "fit". Going more in on a kid that's going to work hard/enhance the culture/leadership/top-notch kid all around...as opposed to someone that is maybe a pre madonna/maybe a bad influence on the locker room/entitled, no matter their talent. Part of me is in full support of that, especially if they can be developed; but, I'll be honest, I want the talent, as well.
