Everybody would love Barion Brown until we were down by 6 against Bama and on the last play Penix puts an absolute dime on Brown’s hands where Heup schemed him wide open for a walk in TD to win the game but Brown drops it

His drops/TOs are because he went to KY and they have rubbed off on him.

At most schools Day would be fine. Their fans are not reasonable and will want him fired tonight.
Surely not... Your QB transfers and the backup goes down in like the second series. Are people gonna be raising hell in here if, God forbid, Nico goes down and Gaston Moore plays the whole game? OSU held a very good Mizzou offense to zero points in the first three quarters. A Mizzou team that rolled in with virtually zero opt outs.

If the Ohio State team that played Michigan shows up, just in terms of personnel, the game is over in the 4th.

Playing some game post transfers and opt outs, "technically not an exhibition" doesn't mean it isnt effectively just an exhibition. These teams in bowl season exist in this depleted form for exactly one game a year.

Chaps my backside that Drinkwitz has achieved just as much as Heupel.
Drinkwitz started a full season before Heupel. Heupel had a huge uphill battle when he came in considering the type of program we have vs what Mizzou typically is.

They won’t have Shrader next year either.

Ryan Day is in big trouble
Yep, losing to Michigan (probably why he was hired to beat), is one thing,,,,,,,,but to lose to a middle team in the SEC, I’d say that seat is hot. To be fair, bowl games now days shouldn’t gauge a team’s winnable with the opt outs and transfer portal. It’s taken the whole fun out of watching them. It’s worse than watching the NFL, because it’s ruining the game I’ve loved since high school.

This is my fave week of sports of the whole year, and New Year's Day is the cherry on the cake

I am so fortunate to have attended so many of these bowl games over the years. Rose, Cotton, Sugar, Orange, Peach, Gator, Citrus, Alamo... I could go on, but you get the point

Fellow college football fans, I salute you

Indeed, I’d Day is doomed, this game isn’t why.

Tbf though, Ryan Day isn’t it. Has had a top 3 roster and easy path his entire career and not fot
It done.

It was a good SEC day.

Our 4th best team manhandled the 2nd best B1G team... And our 10th best team took the second best ACC team to the wire. Hahahahaha

Other conferences

And Heuple has absolutely destroyed that mug the first two times he played him.

Their defense has progressed remarkably since then...gotta give em that, and it shows how important experience can be when paired with good coaching. They have really good defensive coaching.
