Getting whipped on both the offensive and defensive lines... Losing because we are not playing fundamentally sound football. I know, I'm Captain Obvious, but wow, what a whipping in the first half, unfortunately.

Joe started well but the defense's poor play put pressure on the offense and he just can't operate the offense under pressure. I don't think he can mentally hold up in these circumstances. The o-line isn't helping at all. It's embarrassing because we should be a lot better than Florida from a physical standpoint and they're pushing us around. This fanbase deserves better than this against this Florida team. They have to throw out the game plan at halftime and come up with something a lot better.

UF is going to play 2 high safeties to play against the long pass. We will get 5/6 man boxes. Joe is taught to run in that situation. I don’t know if we will try to get more aggressive.

It's the rotation of dudes lol. We didn't have the best OL recruiting during the transition. Now they're coming. Nico is just 1 year out.

I agree with you. We’re starting to recruit better on the offensive line but unfortunately the upperclassmen we are forced to play are absolute slaw. It also doesn’t help that offensive line seems to be the toughest position to supplement your roster out of the portal.

I agree. If you don't trust your QB to throw it down the field, then he shouldn't be your QB. I hate it so bad because Joe deserves some success for the way he has stuck it out.

He just isn't a very effective runner though. But I do agree he has to at least try and pull it more often to keep them honest.

I mean, running play. Not necessarily running Joe.

Unfortunately Joe can’t overcome the offensive line shortcomings like Hendon could. He doesn’t seem to process as fast and his accuracy is shaky at best.

I mean from the first 20 plays we only ran, what did he do wrong besides the lofty toss? We can’t even run the ball. Oline has been booty

as good as the OL played last year. And as much as this staff has struggled to get dudes. And I mean upper echelon linemen. I think there needs to be a change at years end. Esp if theres no improvements.

I'm actually more disappointed in the defense than offense. I was lowkey not all that full of expectations for Joe tbh, thought some great, but inconsistency mostly.

But game 1 and parts of game 2 gave me great hope for this defense being able to anchor us. And so far we've looked silly. Like we don't belong on the same field. Don't get it.

Our oline wasn’t that bad last season. Wright was a top 10 pick, mays played and Carvin wasn’t bad

Rather see him throw 3 int's down field than see this extended hand off play ...we have run like 10 times already...

It’s not trust. It’s based on men in the box. If he has numbers on the outside, then he will throw it short. That’s Heupel’s offense.

Agree with this 100%. Thought we were better.

Better dudes are coming. But I agree we didn't do enough early on. Cooper out stings bigly though.
