2 days of beer and a giant southern New Years dinner got me not caring a whole lot right now.

Watching the Rose Bowl celebration it occured to me today. With a 16 team playoff. We have the QB, we are close on the (gulp) oline, WR, and TE. Really young at HB. DL needs another body, DE is there, LB needs upgrades, and secondary is getting more athletic.

Listen Iowa wasnt good. But its hard not to feel positive about direction of this program.

My point is ... I think that could be us soon. (ducks to dodge negavols).

FSU had 224 yards vs FL with their backup.

They had 219 vs Louisville with their 3rd string.

Don’t see them getting anywhere near 250 with either vs Michigan. And certainly not 20 points.

You can hate Bama and also admit that FSU sucks.

some of that was playing it safe bc they didn’t need more yardage to beat either team. Starting a back up qb his first game in the swamp is not ideal(look at Nathan Peterman)

Having to hurry and get a plan together for your back up qb and having a month to prepare him is a huge difference… They deserved the opportunity to try.

Same! We didn't look that far off today considering the patchwork roster!

Pretty much every position group we saw out there today will be better by September and likely drastically better in some spots.
