Unless something crazy happens, it'll be Michigan vs Washington next Monday night for the national championship. It's been a long time since I've been interested in watching the NC game. Not having Bama, GA, tOSU, Clemson is so refreshing

I've said all along I want Washington to win it all. They're the least deplorable of the bunch.

Penix is an interesting prospect, he's under thrown some balls that simply won't fly at the next level but he's put some balls on the money as well. Being a lefty doesn't hurt him either.

Now that I do agree with. FSU matched up way better against Bama than they did UM. Bama was lucky not to lose by 2 scores today. UM would beat down Texas too. Not sure how to feel about UM vs UW tho

That’s what NIL is about - endorsements, etc. Not employees of the university - a way to earn money independent of the school.

But none of those other areas are prohibited from making money off their name, image, and likeness or any other method of making money. Band members can join the local symphony for pay, as an example. That's the problem. Nobody said universities are obligated to pay football players. The point being made is that it's illegal to forbid football players from making money literally anywhere while they're on scholarship.

No problem with NIL but that doesn’t make them employees of the university.
