Recruiting Football Talk VII

Honestly Huskies offense having such a bad rushing attack really handicapped them as well. Michigan being able to get pressure with 4 DL was unexpected though.

Hahaha would be like that tackle the Rams had that Jevon Kearse wore out for the Titans, which led to the Titans signing the tackle in the off season. Was one of the first head-scratching free agency moves by the Titans back in the day.
I'm liking his potential. Zero false starts. Ever.

I just realized this year's playoff was essentially the Big10 #1 (Michigan) vs the SEC #2 (Bama - L to Texas) and the SEC #1 (Texas) vs the Big10 #2 (Washington)
By the time we realize Washington is in B10, there will probably be another realigment. I still think NE is Big 8 before they left to the Big 12 and now the B10 which is really the Big 14..🤪

Yep. That DL got to Penix early and took him out of his game. Hadn't seen Penix in a full game until tonight. Not impressed. Guy looked..well...kinda scared out there.
Completely overwhelmed and overrated

"Kirby couldn't win it by Y2, he'll never win it and he's overrated and sucks as a coach"

"Harbaugh sucks as a coach and will never do shiz"

...to all the impatient folks who were mentally broken by the Sabanism of CFB and forget his trajectory was not the norm and we have some level of parity once again...

Hats off to Michigan, absolutely the best team in college football. For all the negaVols condemning our program to the dumps because we’re not top 5 in recruiting, I challenge you to go check out Michigan’s roster composite and recruiting history the past few years. It’s all about development and getting the right guys that fit the mold. Hoping our Vols will be here soon enough!

Blah blah blah TCU part deux. Lines rule the game. Always will. Penix was the best QB, but he played out of his mind against TX and regressed pretty hard against this MI D. Give credit to MI for having the best D line in the playoff. I believe UGA would have beat them, but SEC ate itself once again and Harbaugh got his ring.

And yes a LOT of folks on here laughed at both Kirby and Harbaugh over the years. Only one team can win it each season and time goes slowly. Heupel has shown he can take us to just as high. Now he needs time for the formula to hit just right as it did for others. And yeah it may take 5, 7, even 10 years. So be it!
