Name one coach outside of Smart that doesn’t create a large falloff for Bama? And they aren’t getting smart. Must be realistic.

The fall off is that NIL ended Saban's special privilege of buying entire classes with impunity while the rules were enforced on his rivals. Started with his first class and never ended.

The other advantage Saban had was rigged officiating and other perks from the Birmingham office. It was completely crooked. He don't know if that will continue.

Saban never accomplished anything on a level playing field. Whether he could have cannot be known. We can know that the actions and inactions of the NCAA and the SEC Office strongly suggest that neither of them thought Saban could win otherwise.
