Aidoo isn't a physical center more of a finesse guy..

If this team had a Uros type center, no telling how good they would be..

Not a lot of evidence to the contrary...

Last year we scored 70 ppg and was #64 on kenpom. This year we’re averaging 78 and #25 on kenpom and playing one of the most difficult schedules in the country so far. We scored 80+ 9 times all last year, we’ve already done it 8 times so far.

We definitely have flaws and there’s thing Barnes lacks but to act like the team isn’t improved on the offensive end is silly

No it wasn’t. They fed Tolu Smith- not attacked the rim. Aidoo isn’t quite the same player. Inconsistent officiating. But I’m not arguing with you.

Shouldn’t be losing to mid teams in conference but I’m at the point where I could care less about regular season now. Get it done in the post season

Look at the game stats and you will see why we lost. It had very little to do with officiating. Did you watch the first half? If we would have played the first half like we did the second, we win by 15+.

They have one of the best defenses in the country and just got back their best player from injury. It’s really not surprising we lost

We clearly lost the first half, but you can deny that with a fair whistle, our second half would have been enough to win this game.

It was business as usual in Tuscaloosa this morning with Nick Saban interviewing several candidates for the vacancies on his coaching staff. There was a routine team meeting planned for this afternoon, and Saban was working up until that point when he informed the team he was retiring, citing his age and health concerns. The team, from the coaches to the players, did not expect that kind of announcement from him today, the first day of classes at Alabama.

The other coaches did not know prior to the 4 pm team meeting.

School has already started. Classes are in session. I think there could be more leaving AFTER the spring semester but not now. Again, my guess is we see a trickle of players leave. Not a mass exodus. Can you imagine the first day of class, and you find out your coach retired. Man- I know today is tough for many of them.

Need to get Estrella in weight room putting on muscle, Cade Phillips as well..

Awaka is a warrior but is too small for bigger guys in SEC ..

Aidoo will give Tennessee 12 and 8 but as we seen stronger guys can bully him on the block..

Saying that this team probably goes 14-4 in SEC ..

I like to imagine that someone popped up with some damning evidence that would shame him & Bama and forever tarnish his legacy and cause all his victories and titles to be vacated if he didn't retire immediately. Hope it's this and not health related. . . also hope the evidence leaks out anyway.
