I love how just a few days ago Bama fans were still in their fantasy land and thinking it would last for years, then it was ripped away with zero warning.

You know they are still in shock that Saban is no longer their coach, they havent had time to process it. I love how bama gave them zero time to "grieve" and jammed a new coach into them without lube.

Oh, they grieved evidently as the gump fan blowing the Saban statue. True gump fandom. Only thing missing was his sister to make it a three (?)some.

As far as his performance goes, Mincey was good enough to not be bad but bad enough to be forgettable. However, there is one thing about him that I will never forget. I’ll never forget him for shooting a bird at some Florida player, or maybe it was a ref, during our game in 2022 against Florida.

I think Deboer is a good coach. No way he comes close to replicating what Saban did though. I like our chances going forward.

DeBeor actually needs to be better than Saban has been in recent years to achieve what Saban did overall.

Saban has four 2 loss seasons in the last 5 years, and just finished the first Bama season since 2007 where they didn’t spend a single week at AP #1.

Bama is in the middle of its longest title draught since before 2007.

He’s actually got to fix Bama to make them happy.

At least 7 people have told/texted me that I was the 1st person that thought of when the news broke about Saban's retirement. I mean.....
