This is supposed to be our best team under CRB and we already will have 5 losses by the 3rd week of January and 1-2 to start conference. This is the year to make a run and it’s looking like it wont happen.

I just don't think this team is built for a NCAA tournament run. They don't have a strong inside presence and with the exception of Knecht, they don't attack the rim. They rely too much on perimeter shooting, and that makes a team inconsistent.

-there comes a point where you’ve reached the summit as a hc and you need a different to take you past it

Your first thing assumes we couldn’t get someone better. That’s complete BS.

Let's pretend again for a moment that there's a conspiracy.

Georgia is at home with a 10 game win streak. They're one of the hottest teams in the country with a nice storyline. They don't have a Q1 win yet, and they need one bad to give them the best chance at an at-large tourney bid.

Tennessee is still going to be a Top 4 conference team and they'll be a Top 4 seed in March. They don't "need" this win.

So if the conference can keep it close or even help UGA to a win... why wouldn't they?
