I have a feeling that school is going to be out for a while where I'm at. It's thick here but less than 20 mins away they got nothing. East, TN for you. lol.
Johnson City. The helicopters in charge hit the cancel button last week, when weather channel reported that it may, possibly get wind gusts up to 50 mph. The singular, limb in my yard was hell to pick up.

All 3 inches of snow today, (not on the road) makes city streets virtually impassable. Both of my awd vehicles would never traverse the .5 miles to school. Er, we could walk.

I recall being in school, watching snow fall. And just wishing, once. That we'd get out of school. Outside of the 93 blizzard, I cannot recall a time where we got more than a half day off.

There was a time in college soph year it snowed so much transformers were popping. Our first move was to beer store. The rest I will leave to imagination. Suffice to say campus was nuts that day.

Got blocked on the main board for asking Mike Farrell if he was in a homoerotic relationship with Brian Kelly due to his obsession with over valuation of Notre Dame recruits. He did not see the humor in it
I think he got fired by rivals, either way dude is a creep and used his twitter to DM an underage girl

We have nearly 6 inches on west side of Kingsport and still coming down. Already canceled school for Tuesday and Wednesday.

I think everyone is afraid of being sued these days. One death from not calling school and the news would be all over it.

Friday the high school and middle school were without power from about 10:30 on.

As far as being out tomorrow the bus would never make it up the hills in my neighborhood in the morning.

I wouldn't want a high school kid to try and drive to school in this mess.

WHY IS IT STILL SNOWING THEY SAID 6” BUT I GOT 9” HERE IN SOUTH KNOXVILLE

Not only all of that, but these school districts now build in 7-10 days for weather cancellations. It’s part of the school calendar. So, there is no reason to risk it. You’ve got kids at bus stops, high school kids driving, and when it’s icy, slick school sidewalks.
