You are crazy good sir. Bring me all the hot weather. If it never got below 70, I would be a happy happy man.View attachment 610975
Way better than 105 degrees for me. I prefer really cold (non windy) weather over brutally hot weather.
He still averaged 25-26 ppg throughout his career with Ernie (Dalton is at 18.5 ppg for comparison). I can’t find Bernie’s individual game stats anywhere, but definitely feels like he would’ve hit that mark at some point. I mean his first game in a Vol uniform he dropped 42… that’s nearly halfway to Lofton’s 2nd place record right there.King was amazing, but he played with another All-American in Grunfeld. With no shot clock and another really good scoring threat, he did not score as much as he could have. Pistol Pete scored more but he shot a lot more than King.
At least TV shows respect by taken his hat off before he bulldozes the ump.ESPN/SEC Network didn't have a problem showing this clip multiple times....View attachment 610965
Violence on the diamond.
*ESPN, the SEC, and the NCAA protect alabama at all costs. Too many Gumps sit in high places.
**did you notice that alabama was our opponent that day. It's a reoccurring theme, in all sports, that the SEC refs favor the tide over the VOLS. Conference bias and crooked referees need to be punished
Reggie White.Bo Jackson is most definitely the best athlete of all time. It's not even close.
Oh wow! You are from my neck of the woods! Now I’m intrigued as to who you are, because it looks like you live in Georgia now. How old are you? I am 47. Wondering if we were in the area around the same time.As a kid growing up in lower, middle TN, the last 2 days would have been great. We’d get a ride from someone’s older sibling to Sewanee for sledding the side streets. Not sure how we didn’t freeze, starve or die of dehydration.
Also not sure how we didn’t drown in Tims Ford from swinging the ropes or jumping cliffs at the rock quarry in Cowan.
Yep, middle TN sure does suck.
In person summer classes are the best because I just dress how I want and everyone is chill. We haven’t had them for our department since COVID. Makes me sad.I remember taking summer classes and walking from Copper Beach pool to class and being damn dry by the time I got there. It was so damn hot. Probably had a beer for the walk too back in those days.
