Alabama fans have been spoiled for 17 years. Nobody gives a damn about sympathy for that fanbase. College football is cyclical and their time has come to be humbled.

The world of college football doesn’t revolve around just Alabama.

So many. I remember seeing Willie play in the early 1970s but he was a shell of his former self.

That was just a little before my time...I never really started paying attention until the late late 70s and early 80s watching the Braves, Cubs and Mets on TBS, WGN and WOR.

But then I started checking out a lot of old BB books from the school library...I was one of those guys that got the paper everyday just to read the Sports section and see the day stats.

It will be interesting to see what the SECorrupt officials do...if they follow their usual (for everybody else) pattern of home cooking...then we will have the upper hand, but if we get the usual "screw Tennessee over in every sport" treatment, look for Aidoo, Knecht and ZZ to be sitting on the bench in early found trouble and thus getting completely out of game rhythm...and they will win.

It will be interesting.

Forgot which talking head said it, but they basically called it. Said KD would be the hire but was at the highest #4/5 on the board. Said if it ever got to him he’d accept on the spot. But if you ask Josh Pate, bama knocked it out of the park with the hire and that the SEC better be put on notice.

Pate seems to pander sometimes. Because of this I don’t get too excited when he talks us up.
