I think so much of this improvement is on the kids. When Hyatt blew up we kept hearing about how much extra work he put in during the offseason. This offseason AP was talking about how Hadden had a light bulb come on.

Coaching helps, but the kids putting the work in is more important imo.
I think you're right....what I don't understand is these dummies not all seeing what "could" be if they listen and apply..and not doing it themselves..it seems like the light bulb would come on for all of them that see the results of hard work and commitment up close.

Obviously a bengals fan so I’ll let this one go 😂😂 but if he was truly hurt the training staff wouldn’t have allowed him to come back
Riiiight, because football training and coaching staffs would never allow a player to play with an injury, especially in the NFL 🙄

Maybe the coaches need to do a better job making these kids see the light 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if how many of these Darnell Wright/Jalin Hyatt/Kamal Hadden stories we need before this kind of hustle just becomes part of the team culture. Imagine multiple stories like this every year.... that could get us to a championship level imo.

Am I wrong here...I mean if Downs is a Million dollar player and Sayin is something in that vicinity...I mean do you think OSU spent 20 million on this incoming class with transfers?

Nah not even close. Unless you’re counting those deals as 4 years for incoming class and then they prob spent a pretty penny.
