The way that he pointedly and noticeably mentioned Heupel twice without saying anything about Elarbee, and then going on about Pittman and Mateos stood out to me.While he did emphasize playing for Pittman, I took it as the room was full ahead of him, and he wasn’t going to play much. If he is more of a center, then Mays and Lang are still ahead of him. The section about music does kind of lend credence to him having other interests, which is totally fine. I’m all for kids being well-rounded, but if you want to play high level college ball, most of your life has to be devoted to it.
If you want to excel at football, which is why you are on scholarship...then you have to give maximum effort.
