What a life Peyton has.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Hooker. He’s 3rd on the chart this year but he obviously was still recovering from the ACL injury for most of the year. Next year, he will most likely compete for #2 with whoever Detroit brings in to decide #2 vs #3. Goff has had 2 of the best years of his career, only topped by his one year at the Rams that he had. Highly, highly doubt his job is in jeopardy next year but it will be his last year on his contract though and he will be a 31M cap hit. If they re-sign him this off-season, I hope Hooker gets a chance somewhere else in the next year or two.

Idk I think it is a talent issue though too. Just aren't enough boys interested in soccer. Not enough bodies in the talent pool on top of an inferior system.

The talent is plenty good enough to compete. Development and coaching is just as much if not more of an issue though. There’s a reason all of the best players in the US are leaving as early as they can to join European teams academies like Pulisic did at Dortmund. The US is pay to play to go up against the best competition and get the best coaching and even then it isn’t close to what players can get abroad.
