The difference is Jordan was a absolute monster defensive player....DPOY and Scoring leader...that is insane.

I will say too, that Kobe didn't play in the most brutally physical era of the NBA..and MJ did, and thrived in it...but it took a huge toll on him physically imo. They at least still played good defense in Kobes era, but it was not as brutal as the late 80s and 90s.

Both of them could play into their 50s in this wussified no-contact era...lol.
Dude. I'm talking best finale games.

Not careers lol.

Kobe isn't even in MJ's tier career-wise, probably 2 tiers belows imo. One of the greats. But a volume, not elite efficient player.

Though I also don't agree any of them could play into their 50s. MJ took years off, came back rested and looked worse than he ever had. Modern nutrition and training has changed. We saw it with Brady. And now Lebron. But neither lasted/will last past mid 40s. Guaranteed.

Guaranteed. 50s in insane...unless you just want to be a benchwarmer at best. These guys have more pride than that.

Kobe was no more hard working than MJ.
This will forever come back to comparing stories...legends.

But of all categories, I would give Kobe the nod in this 1 department. Kobe's work ethic and obsession is legendary, above and beyond. It's what he's literally known for. The Mamba Mentality.

Imo hardest working high-level athlete all-time.

Me and McGill

Lubya bro...but I HATE HATE HATE Kirby and Saban..they are both good solid coaches...but both of them are .500-.600 win percentage coaches with equal talent and rules enforcement (on and off the field) in my opinion and nothing is ever going to change that.

I refuse to bow down and kiss their sorry asses...and it REALLY pisses me off for other Vols to do it too.

Disagree...if anything...I will acknowledge they are equals on this point.

Micheal said the one player being close to his work ethics and mentality on the court was Kobe Bryant..
