Brock Purdy good regular season QB, below average playoff QB.

Different level of intensity see, there was a REASON he was last pick of a draft ..

Now everyone sees it he is not the one..

He's a perfect example of a great coach with a great system who can plug and play an average qb. But they need slightly better than average to win a SB I think, even with the great coach and system.

49ers under utilize him badly. Guy deserves targets. He does things deebo and aiyuk can't, catches the ball on high stress downs. Give the guy more targets. I'd love to have him in Miami.

This is what I don’t understand. He makes their offense work better with one target maybe two every drive. You need a first down go to Jennings.

Oh. Well that’s just silly. Dude is also the leading rusher for his team and averaged 5.5 ypc as a QB. He’s 1 of 3 active players - all QBs - to be named MVP (if you count Rodgers as still active…we’ll see). He’s at the top of tier 2.

Who would you put in tier 2?

Edit: he’s also one of the favorites for MVP this year

He doesn’t deserve to be in the MVP conversation. I don’t consider rushing stats for a QB as something that’s important. I just don’t think he is that good. He withers in the big moments. To me, that knocks you down a tier.

Odd that you don’t consider rushing as something that could be important for a QB. You’ve literally seen with your own eyes what a guy who can run - Dobbs, HH, Nico - can do to a defense.

Do you not consider running the ball as an important part of the game at all?
