I can see Hendon's path to the QB job now. Goff cannot do anything on the run. If he has to get out of the pocket more bad things happen than good.

Their secondary stinks. Cam is done as a productive player.

I love Campbell as a coach and hindsight is 20/20, but those turned out to be terrible calls not to take that points. I have made zero dollars as a football coach, so TIFWIW

I mean that was just dumb, not aggressive. Never seen anyone go for it up 14 when you could kick a FG. Absolutely nuts. Never seen anyone do that.

Let's be honest. He got a roster spot off name alone. Not cause he was a good baseball player. It was a smart $ business decision & thats it.

Other than refs making certain calls, its preposterous to assert the entire season is scripted. There's ZERO evidence and as an actor myself, I can tell you these football players aren't "acting" impossible they're all that good at it and have been for decades. Then they have to keep the charade going for the rest of their lives.

Why would the NFL need to script anything? Does the NFL need that to make it entertaining? Is Pat Mahomes not the best player in the league? Why wouldn't his team, with those players on it dominate year after year? Why would the players care to work that hard if they know what's going to happen?

The NFL randomly decided that the Chiefs would get Pat Mahomes so they could be the new dynasty? They said "ah yes Mahomes of 6-6 Texas Tech will make us the maximum amount of money!"

Or is the scripting way more subtle? But then when is it scripted? Do only some players and coaches know?

There's just no way to substantiate any claim to it being rigged unless you just choose to BELIEVE it's all rigged. Sorry, I'd rather there be a SINGLE fact out there to prove it and there are ZERO facts to suggest it's rigged. None.

Nothing wrong with aggressiveness and believing in your team, but you have to ration it out and not outsmart yourself. End up chasing points needlessly. Worse example was attempting a two point conversion THREE times against the Cowboys. Instead of taking the tie and resetting in overtime, you finish short out of stubbornness. They pull that game out and today’s game is at home fwiw.

Well Campbell has been celebrated all year as being super aggressive and a gambler. "The whole personality of the teams feeds off him" type stuff. I think the announcers were yacking approvingly about it pre-game and in the first quarter. It just looks different when it doesn't work.
