Driving an hour to get to lake then driving an hour back the same day is def not worth it.

I drive up to lake Friday afternoon and stay in camper, get boat out and ride the weekend. Park in building next to camper. Come back the next time I want to.

The only headache about having a boat is winterizing and changing oil at the end of season which takes maybe an hour and 100 dollars( if you do it yourself, it's not hard at all)

I have a Yamaha jet boat. No winterization. All you do is run up the throttle once the boat is out of the water. Clears the water out and that’s the complete winterization.

Back when I was in residency training, I would take my boat in for the hundred hour service twice a year. The dealership told me that I was their only customer that needed it more than once a season. Most were once every two to three years. After the second year, the dealership installed a use counter (for free) because they didn’t really believe that I put hundred of hours on the boat each season. They believed when they saw the use meter. 😎

I lived at the lake literally every Friday afternoon, all day Saturday and Sunday. I could only afford the boat by moonlighting in an ER to make the payments.

I rented a duplex 10 minutes from the boat ramp. I lived closer to the lake than I did the hospital. 😁

I traded call weekends to other residents during the year. I would take all my call from October through April. No call May through September.

I also wouldn’t take call during Tennessee game weekends because I had season tickets. I flew to Knoxville for almost every home game. I was single. 😎 (2 Season tickets were my med school graduation present to myself)

The toughest thing for me was knowing people who could drive the boat. I taught many people how to drive a boat. It sucks if you want to ski or wakeboard and you don’t have anyone to pull you…🤔

No need for strawmen. We are closer on this topic than most.

My point was laughing at the hypocritical soft coaches that suddenly can't handle a TEMPORARY wild situation, when players dealt with absurd situations for DECADES. These adults need to grow up themselves and buckle up and try to improve the situation, as the players finally did, not cry and quit smdh.

Could be how dominate Tennessee has been at home in conference games so far, nothing against South Carolina..

I think it will be a 8-10 point game. South Carolina 's defense is really good, held Kentucky to less than 60 I believe..
