Yeah good luck holding onto power while being sued by multiple states. Even trying to use the Commerce Clause/Contract Clause as justification...individuals and collectives are not bound to the same standards that a state is. Would be a big leap for any court to make the jump that an organization your team or company is a part of can dictate you ability to have a side hustle

I would be honored if we got the opportunity to be the ones to blow the NCAA house of cards down in a court of law. And I suspect the rest of the country would help us carry those goalposts straight into the Tennessee River if we did.

It is their job to set and enforce clear, reasonable guidelines for programs to follow, and they have failed catastrophically on both counts. This changing college athletics landscape didn't have to lead directly to a lawless Wild West like it has. It only did because they are incompetent.
