I have stuck with my teams since I was a kid. Not sure that's a good thing but formative years and all. Thus...Go Reds, Cowboys, Lakers. Adopted Red Wings when I lived there. Ya wouldn't have a strong affiliation with any hockey team growing up in TN when I was a kid.I agree. Everyone is a bandwagon fan originally, if you stick with them you're good. Just like it doesn't matter how you met your wife as long as you stick around through the good and bad.
What changed the stakes was the show In Loving Color. They ran a show specifically designed to run at halftime and it drew 77 million viewers. The next Super Bowl booked Michael Jackson.False nostalgia imo
They've never been consistently great. You only get a Prince performance one time. Then you might get a decently memorable one every 5 years or so. The rest are meh. But probably good for some demos.
At least it isn't the 80s super bowl halftimes, those were truly laughable.
You don't think Brady is the GOAT with SEVEN titles?
88% say he's the best QB of all-time. For context, compare that to MJ's goat basketball player vote of 58%. His position atop the NFL greats is undeniable and a more sizable gap than in other sports, though Mahomes has a chance to chip away.
Mahomes, with 3 at 28 years old, is just 1 year behind TB with 3 at 27.
Question will be if he can keep up the pace without Reid/Kelce at some point and have longevity.
Smart fellow! Following in the steps of Arian Foster. Be a steward of your own money! Why Jauan Jennings still drives his college car — a 2014 Maxima — four years into NFL career
Entering Super Bowl 58 vs. the Chiefs, 49ers WR Jauan Jennings still drives the 2014 Nissan Maxima he drove while in college at Tennessee.www.tennessean.com
Other teams can offer him contracts if 49ers want to keep Jennings they would have to match.i was reading that the 49ers are likely to give him a 2.898 contract to keep their right to match…. that’s a significant raise even if he doesn’t have a huge market for his skills.
i was referring to the qualifying offer that the 49ers have to give him to make him a restricted free agent… that is the minimal that he will make.Other teams can offer him contracts if 49ers want to keep Jennings they would have to match.
If they think price is too steep would get a compensation pick from team Jennings signs with..

He must be ahead of me! (He liked this post before I did)By the time @VolsDoc81TX catches up, we will have won the NC in basketball and will be heading to Omaha in baseball.
saban at LSU….. his first real class was number 2 in the nation…. that was before saban made a name for himself…. Kirby at georgia had the number 3 class in his first real class… number 1 in his second year as coach….. both were before they put guys in the league as a head coach…. Urban was probably similar.Deboer hasn't won like Saban/Kirby or put dudes in the league like Saban/Kirby. I'm trying to think of one coach that recruited well and didn't do both.
Like I said you can sell a vision... for a while. If any of those mentioned would not have produced then they would not have been able to recruit squat. Schmoozing and smoke may work for a while but only go so far, ask Butch.saban at LSU….. his first real class was number 2 in the nation…. that was before saban made a name for himself…. AP also mentioned Tommie Robinson as a potential RB coach. I (Think) he is currently at Colorado. Tons of experience and his all time commit list is pretty special. Tommie Robinson, (),Just give me an ace recruiter. We are behind in that area. RB coaching matters, but recruiting studs matters even more.
