We have anyone that can replace Ensley? He’s basically an automatic out at the plate (shouldn’t be leading off) and is Jekyll and Hyde defensively

Poor take. He is definitely not Jekyll and Hyde in the field. He did not make a single error last year and ended up hitting .280. Not awesome, but definitely not a liability. Slow start this year but to judge him on these first 3 games is way too premature. You probably think Burke should sit, too.

Spent the weekend in the Smokies and we came back yesterday afternoon passing thru Alcoa and Maryville. It was a site to behold of the officer's car completely covered and surrounded by flower arrangements..

Honestly, I'm not the type to criticize anyone for making a donation publicly or privately. The person in need doesn't care who it's coming from and sometimes a celebrity name attached draws far more donations.

My bigger complaint is when these celebrities and politicians pop-up and create their own organizations to donate to...that always seems a bit more questionable to me.

It’s actually a smarter way to handle things financially and for the chosen charity.
They for sure are getting the correct tax cut. They know where all the money is going. Their celebrity status brings attention to a charity that may not get much attention otherwise.

I always check the charity to see how much actually makes it to the charity itself. Very careful with donations as some of the big charities have such high overhead that very little money actually goes to the charity recipients.

We now support local charities that are helping folks. My wife and I are involved in both charity organizations. Both depend on volunteers for every aspect and no one gets paid for their services to the charity.

I just have one more thing to say since I have gotten into basketball and baseball is here. Our football team has the potential for

Someone said the Vols vs NC State tickets in Charlotte are already on sale.

Anyone know where? (Not aftermarket)

On UT website. I got an email last week saying I could purchase (had expressed interest last year). I think the rest go on sale this week. I got 4 on the 40, upper deck for $107 each including fees.

You brought in football to prove a point. Measuring greatness in football and basketball are vastly different. Your point is that you don’t have to win a title to be great. I get that. However the argument can also be made that, especially in basketball, that greatness is measured in titles.

The greatest college basketball player of all time is Kareem. Why? Yes his personal stats are a part of it but he also was the main factor in UCLA winning 71 consecutive games and 3 straight NCAA titles. Clark is a really good player. But it’s not that far fetched to say she isn’t great until she wins a title.

No. He said championships were the measure of being great. That's the only context I responded to.

Not sure Marquette drops that much losing on the road to the best team in the country.

Kansas, UNC, & Marquette all went 1-1 though and we went 2-0. So we could move up a spot. Arizona probably benefits the most honestly. They'll jump to 4th, Marquette falls back but could stay ahead of us...I'm not sure we'll get the jump over UNC/Kansas with them both having the head to head.... but it's possible. Arkansas and Vandy aren't great wins, but 2-0 is still better than 1-1
