I am surprised at the Sims’ hire. I hope it works out, but I am skeptical that he can match Mack’s performance.

My mom watched all of the footage yesterday (my younger brother was a police officer/chief for over 20 years, so she watches everything law enforcement)...she said it was awful and heartbreaking.

Killer is a felon, with a gun in his possession...no way he was getting out of that car willingly.

You can always make a situation worse for yourself and shooting a cop ALWAYS makes your situation worse. I think the guy shot the officer out of petty revenge for being tased more than anything else.

What were your expectations of Mack after his hire? I had never heard of him.

I have heard of Sims. I hope for the best. I have not been super high on Mack over his time at UT and had hoped for an upgrade. I just don’t think Sims is an upgrade.
We need to upgrade our RB pass protect to help Nico.
