Ok so this sent me down a rabbit hole. I pulled up an old Carson interview with Bette and IDK if she was always that way or if she'd just gotten to old to care but Carson asked her who she wouldn't want to work with (at this point she had to be 80 if she was a day) and then backtracks and says you don't have to answer and Bette blurts out "Faye Dunaway..." And Bette is like everyone in Hollywood would tell you the same thing. It was hilarious.
