vols sports....looking preeeeetttyyyy good these days, fellas

I don’t want to say that this current era is the pinnacle of UT Athletics, but if it is, it’s been so much fun.

But I strongly believe that even better days are coming, including championships in multiple sports. UT is set for a long time, with the current administration.

Remember we saved Texas, numerous countries, and college football
NCAA raking in billions for decades forcing Arian Foster to beg for tacos
Remember who we are
Start none they won't be none

Love to see Arian gaining his rightful place as the whistleblower against an autocratic monopolistic system.

A decade ago folks ragged on him for complaining openly about not having enough food to feed his (ridiculous as an athlete) calorie needs.

Feel like he's finally being vindicated. It wasn't about UT ever. The coaches helped. It was a spurn against the NCAA's imposed environment for college athletes.

Do you think humans will ever be able to upload skill sets directly into the human brain, kinda like the kung-fu matrix stuff? In 100 years or 1,000?

If we could do it now, what would you upload into yourself? (@Glitch )
Given innards full of microrobotics, I don't see why not.

Talking physical abilities.

Me personally...I'd take just having a better back 😅

It’s funny that the NCAA is stating that the “schools” what them to make restrictions on NIL, my question is what schools want this and why is this not public knowledge?

Those schools need to be brought into the spotlight so fans, recruits, and their families know which schools don’t want them to get their best offer in NIL…I have never been conspiracy theorists but something tells me Georgia and Bama are part of those supposed “schools” based on how their HC’s were against it a few years ago.

They think THEIR BOARD gives them license to state “majority”. A legal strategy after a verdict is to poll the jury. If that was done here, you’d be hard pressed to find such a conclusion imo. Bama and UGA want the old bagman system…THEY are not EVERYONE.

There was a time when football and women’s basketball were top level at the same time. Now women’s basketball is mid, but every other program is high performing. I don’t remember that in my Vols fan lifetime.

Arian made plenty while playing for UT.

Danny, please restore the LV program back to the way Pat always wanted it to continue after she passed. Get rid of pretty Holly, and hire a legit coach who can at least coach fundamental basketball and some basic Xs and Os.

It's absolutely painful to watch and I don't mean that generally. I mean that it hurts to see what they've become and be reminded of what we lost.

I wished this many years ago and it may be too late now...

But throwing a bag at Dawn Staley seems like a no-brainer. Of course this should have happened a decade ago.

She makes $3mm. Offer $4 and see what happens. The ability of the LVs to turn money on the program is far greater than at USCjr. They have no history or great care of the program like the LVs do.

Glitch would download the Kama Sutra into his brain.

If it ever became possible, languages would seem to be the most practical application.
