I was born and raised into it. But realistically, all I and anyone younger than 30 knows is a 5-7 level Tennessee squad. Us “negavols” have been right 14 of the last 15 years. 12 if you think 8-4 butch seasons were great. What I expect to happen and what you expect to happen are radically different.

Your opinion is based on history. Which might be relevant if we had the same administration doing the same things. We don't. Also, since 2008, we've been 5-7 or worse 7 times. That means we've been better than 5-7 8 times. More than half. I'll admit that I'm concerned about SC, but I am not going into that game thinking we're going to lose. I think it will be a pretty tough game and I think we will win.

Lol no it wasn’t. We beat up on an inferior opponent and took advantage of some big runs with a lot of missed tackles. It was sideline, sideline, end zone. Looked like a butch jones/mike bajakian offense. Zero creativity. Unless they show some this week we’re in big trouble. Lol. Im worried our personnel is stopping us from being able to be creative.

If you didn't see a better TN football team in the 1st half then I can't help you.

And..... we blocked a punt! If Seldon wouldn't have had a brain fart and touched the ball, we would have probably scored again in the 1st half

We won and have an 11 game home winning streak. We can get sloppy and the offense can disappear even against bad opponents.

When the offense is ON we can hang in there with any SEC team this year because it’s down. If we disappear we can lose to anyone not named Vandy.

All those horizontal passes and screens are frustrating at times.

Hopefully we didn't run alot of that weak ass zone on defense.

It's definitely been across the board but half of our games have had refs skewed towards our opponents and it's not close

It definitely hasn’t been fun to watch. I try not to use the refs as an excuse because the calls may be tricky tacky and one sided but at the end of the day you have to execute. This year it’s very frustrating seeing the no call on the unsportsmanlike targeting and crack backs. Even the face mask that was missed today was blatant.

We are better than Florida (and the media knows it, hence us still being ranked above them).

We just played a bad game last week on the road.

We are better than South Carolina and we get them at home. They're in a dogfight with State at home, and getting burned over the top all night.

It might be a shootout, but we have the advantages next week and we appear to have gotten out of our funk. Let's stop lamenting and get ready for a big one.

I have a feeling it'll either be like Ole Miss 21 (though they were actually the better team) or Kentucky last year.
