I forgot to mention that the lout wet-sounding thud from the Northwest was Colorado coming back to earth. Not sure how Mark Jones is going to cope with it, though.

Scar is not a great team but their strength is our weakness. Rattler could potentially eat up our DBs. Will be a shootout… we have to make a few big plays on defense.

I went to a bar in Denver to watch the game with other Vol fans and weirdly none of them called me a beta male or got combative. I forgot how much VN lives terminally online. Great win! Enjoy the rest of your weekend with people that love you.

South Carolina's secondary is awful. Goodness we should have guys running wide open next week. Theyre horrible.

The issue is being able to have time and the ability to even get those guys running wide open the ball.... that's where this team is right now unfortunately.

Saturday night in Neyland, if the refs start making bad calls in favor of Scar, it will get ugly. Our fans will be lathered up for that one and they’re already unhappy with officiating this year. Expect more French’s and Dasani on the field.

I will definitely be interested to see which crew is calling the game. We will know exactly how the game will be called before kickoff just based on the crew assigned to the game.

It definitely hasn’t been fun to watch. I try not to use the refs as an excuse because the calls may be tricky tacky and one sided but at the end of the day you have to execute. This year it’s very frustrating seeing the no call on the unsportsmanlike targeting and crack backs. Even the face mask that was missed today was blatant.
