They didn't beat us "bad"...theg won by freaking 4...what are you talking about?
Probably ptsd from our football ass-whoppin. . . or I thought it was a bad loss, but SC wasnt as bad as I thought. Just seems like it was a bad beat after hearing about that loss so much. Going into the rematch, I would've bet they beat us by 10+. Must've just brainwashed myself.

Be careful what you wish for. You may get the biggest, baddest, most pissed off team in the tourney.

I hope we're biggest, baddest, most pissed off :D but I do get what you're saying. I just think a team like St. Peter's (esp. this year) has very little to lose and a whole lot to gain by playing the baddest mofos they can. And of course, they're gonna be happy for their Z too.

How do metrics - I don't know, uh, 'metricfy' lucK?
Margins...close wins...bad losses.

Not all wins and losses are made equal.

Similar to how Bill C. views and has proven out luck in football. Unlucky teams tend to uptick in wins the next season, for instance.

To get more specific, they could get down to play-by-play data, but not sure if KenPom gets to that level or not.
