AP tweeted out an article on On3 about coopers availability this weekend.. it’s paywalled. Someone have the details?
The dude ought to be fine by Saturday

He got surgery on August 8th

It's been 47 days already and by Saturday it would have been 7 weeks and four days of healing. If he doesn't go he should at least be totally fine after the bye week. Which would make it 9 weeks and four days.

Cowboys Red Zone offense is crap this year so far....I like Dak but he is a game manager no "it" factor....as quote Stephen A. Smith says " an accident waiting to happen"...

Milton obvioiusly had an MRI today. And Godfather Vitello noted earlier in this thread, MRI's are really common these days. In fact he probably wasn't the only one to have an MRI after yesterday's game and there have certainly been others this fall.

Now, as for Joe, everyone I have spoken with believes he's going to be good to go this week, but as we know it's a long week so we will see how he progresses, but everyone seems optimistic that he will be ok come Saturday.

Tennessee has been without starting center Cooper Mays since early in fall camp. Mays had a procedure after feeling pain in his abdomen and getting further examination from specialists.
More details have emerged as sources confirmed to Volquest that Mays surgery was to repair three hernias and an abdominal wall repair during the second week of August.
With the triple hernia procedure in addition to the repair of the abdominal wall tear, Mays was given a six week recovery timeline by the surgeons. In the middle of this past week, was exactly six weeks since the surgery.
While technically Mays was cleared to return the week of Florida, he had been only a participant in individual periods of practice that week and had not done any team periods the week of the Florida game. That meant he had yet to have contact during practice since the first week of fall camp. His first contact came this past week prepping for UTSA. Mays will work to continue knocking the rust off this week in practice as he did last week going against the scout team.
Sources also confirmed to Volquest that Mays is on track and hopeful to be ready for this week’s game against South Carolina.
-VQ update on Cooper Mays. Triple hernia and abdominal wall repair in the second week of August is the official procedure.
