That was a VOLS moment. Even though Bruce is not a vol, candace used her vfl rank to bring Bruce back into the fold to have a moment. He needed it, we all needed it

Schierman scored ZERO points the last 8.5 minutes of the game.

Barnes put on a clinic. And Mashack-- Creighton could seldom get past half court when he was out there. What a player.

Aaaand if our guys had hit the open shots they were easily getting right then...it would gave backfired big time.

We just hit a cold spell and I'm not sure that defense had a dang thing to do with it...maybe just the look of it got in their heads or something..so maybe.

Box and one with the one on Dalton. CRB did good last night, but that was the time to call a TO and make adjustments because our guys were baffled and needed a rest anyway. They were missing the easy shots because they needed a rest, legs were tired.

It all worked out. Survive and advance. So very proud of this team.

I know a lot don’t like Pearl, but seeing him give a thumbs up and saying “How bout them Vols!” will hopefully be a sense of closure. Now that we’ve made it back to the ELITE 8.

Agree AND Candace giving him public credit for bringing the basketball team back to relevance. He seemed to appreciate it. It was good to see And hear. Tip of the hat to Candace. Pat would have been proud.

Barnes beating an excellent Creighton coach at chess with 7 regular players.

When Mashack was on the floor, Creighton seldom could get past half court.

The insane 18 point scoring tear.

Knecht fake out (pretending he didn't tip the ball) after the obvious foul on Tobe that wasn't called.

The fact that Vescovi didn't play and is well rested. (just hope the rest of them stay healthy)

Did ZZ ever get to sit down except for those long commercials and half time?

Tobe Awaka!! Barnes saw he was the better player last night and left him in the game.

Carr coming in and hitting that three when we were in foul trouble.

Our team is in such good shape physically. No panting/bending over/hands on hips--and still play that intense defense.

The show afterwards with Candace, Pearl, and Wright. CBS outdid themselves there.

Elite 8. Come on VOLS.

Was lucky to get a few hours sleep last night, way too hyped after that fantastic performance by all of them except Aidoo. He needs to earn redemption in our David versus Goliath rematch. Need Vescovi back feeling well and a return to his glory years performances.

I bet CRB has something in mind for the Boilers.

Let's get our baseball team back on track today fellow Vol fans. They got spanked hard yesterday.

I’ll be honest, I like this matchup a lot more than I liked the Texas or Creighton matchups. I think we come in with some swagger!

The big key will be how hard Purdue makes life for DK…. That was a huge last night…. We could get DK decent looks whenever we wanted…. The offense flows so much better when that happens.

Man I’m so proud of Rick and these guys. Rick has solidified himself as the best basketball coach in Tennessee history. With that said, I want this next win so badly. I’m so tired of being labeled as the program that hasn’t made a Final 4.

Rick and the team can reach legendary status Sunday. Want it so badly for them, this fan base, this program. Seize the moment!!

They were able to step up bc of the position that we were able to get the ball to DK…. Similar to how we need to defend edey… Make those entry passes come from further out on the floor to make life rough for Edey while shutting down his teammates.. We do need a full team effort tomm.

Agree to disagree last night. We were in the most trouble whenever Aidoo was in. They kept clawing back in because he couldn’t play D on their Big on the pick ‘n roll. Yeah, he had 4 points but he was the liability last night. He plays the majority of the game and we lose.
