I threw out a couple casts, but no bites, 😂
Told them I hope DW hires the women's basketball version of Tony Vitello. . . then told them DW doesn't give a single consideration to what the "old guard LV fans" want.

Not too extreme, but thought it might fire up some of the coo-coos who are hanging off the ledge.

Not even a comparable situation. Why? No NIL or transfer portal. Also, why do some think success in the pro’s automatically means success in college? The Lady Vols would be mega excited if White hired Harper back. Come on man. This is about coaching at the college level.

Also, look at the programs who have replaced their coaches the past few years. Why didn’t any of them want Hammon? Surely those programs would have been excited to get her right?

Did you keep up with other programs coaching searches? How do you know other programs haven't contacted her about coaching? I don't think she has any interest in coaching college basketball, but that doesn't mean schools haven't tried.

So, you’re saying if the transfer portal and NIL had existed in 1992, no college basketball fans would have been excited about snagging Phil Jackson as a head coach?

She is the female Gruden. A popular name only. The pro and college game are completely different. Think about it. Hammon makes $1 million per year. Harper made more than her. Wonder why other teams haven’t made her their coach?

I don’t. And you could be right. But my points are just as valid as those who say she would be a good hire.
