Edey got points, but he played poorly in that second half. Poor defense, missed free throws, and missed layups basically.

Yeah he played poorly but a lot of that had to do with how UCONN played him in the 2nd half too. After halftime, he didn’t do much until around 8 min left in the 2nd half.

Hurley coached a thing of beauty. UCONN has a darn good team and are just so well coached.

Lol arky only in this because cal goin there. I can think of 10 better jobs that didn’t make this list. Ucla (Crawford must be on crack for not including them), Texas, Villanova, Syracuse, Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Gonzaga, Princeton, nc state.

Hurley did well to run out on the court and make a big deal out of a typical no-call on Edey. I think it ended up slowing down the rate of biased calls for Edey. Plus, people don't mind a moment of justice invoked.

But I have to think that if Barnes had done that: (1) he would have gotten a technical and a warning, (2) the officials would have gone even more into the tank for Edey in retaliation, and (3) the network, the national media, and twitterdom would have absolutely gone off on Barnes and Tennessee incessantly for weeks. That's a conundrum.
