There is a host of memes about it and not just by Vol fans. They had been losing all their midweek games but doing ok, but they keep losing.

Still surreal to me how we dominated Alabama out of the gates in 2022. And against H1 of 2023. We knew they'd punch back. We handled it one year, not so much after losing our DB1 and without Hooker the other year.

Just have a feeling we will beat them all 60 minutes this year.

Fwiw when they were ranked #24 they were 17-14 overall and 6-6 in conference. They dropped a whopping 18 spots poll over poll. Miss St was #22...with 12 losses as well. Insane conference probably helps.

Would have to ask the 3 or 4 independent writers over at D1baseball.com. Think they kept the confidence of a team that's recruited really well as long as they could. It was only a couple weeks ago folks were complaining about them being top-5 and now they're going to be unranked next week.

44-12 (19-11).

That would put them in line for a top 8 national seed, IMO. Would be awesome.
