Bordered on overdone, but didn’t cross. Gosling always breaks up but held it together pretty well. What made it funny was Heidi. She’s always stone in these skits and didn’t look prepared when she turned around.

I think the hire is good for us, but I watched snips of the Mark Pope press conference and I can see why they went his direction. It would be like us hiring Tee Martin if Tee were a competent head coach. That could not have been worse than hiring Dooley or Pruitt. I think Pope is a sacrificial lamb though. They also have some weird theory/myth on their coaching hires too and he fits that model.

Our injunction/case has chucked open the floodgates. Teams that were tip-toeing around realized they had to merge with traffic or get left behind. I think that the recent chaos will open a busier spring than usual. Schools like UGA and Bama have both admitted their NIL were behind because they were leaning on reputations and 5 stars willingness to win a championship. That is now out the window with Saban gone and Kirby getting knocked out. Players now truly shop their collective opportunities. UGA was just doing a big NIL fundraising effort because their self-confessed funds were tight and their roster was being groomed.
