He was definitely overpaid last year compared to his production, and probably the couple years before that too. His contract this year though only has a $3M base. That's very reasonable. If he hits a bunch of incentives and it goes up closer to the $8M number, then that's a win-win. I don't expect him to have a great year though and I'd also be surprised is he plays more than 13-14 games. If he can be a solid 3rd target for Tua and hit anywhere from 300-400 yards though than that's already more than what Miami’s WR3 did last year who was paid a base salary of $7M. So not a terrible move at all for Miami.I don’t understand NFL GMs. This guy has averaged roughly 25 catches, 355 yards, and less than 3 TDs per season the last 4 seasons, and made $16M last year. SMH
