Don't get too bothered now...just my opinion here. If you want to cherry pick one stat to support that the top guy during your era was the GOAT, then that's fine. The same can easily be done for Tiger.

I happen to think Bobby Jones was the GOAT. He was basically a part time golfer and retired from competitive golf at 28. I think what he accomplished in his time is more impressive than Tiger and Nicklaus. That's just my thoughts.

Have I got a GOAT argument started that isn't LeBron vs MJ? To everyone else...you're welcome.

Sorry, total wins in majors has always been the yardstick for greatness in golf. It sounds like you're mad because Jack didn't do dumb things to cut his career short.

1) Jack never embarrassed himself by dating hookers (as far as we know).

2) Jack never backed his car into a tree while trying to escape an irate Barbara Nicklaus, wielding a golf club.

3) Jack never crashed his courtesy car while speeding (on drugs?) in Southern California.

The only person that's mad is you...and now we know why. You just don't like Tiger, and that's fine. I've got no issue with anyone else thinking Nicklaus is the GOAT and I've said as much. I've said anyone can make a case for Nicklaus and Tiger. Hell, I think Bobby Jones is the GOAT and made a case for it. I don't get why that would bother you so much. If you really think I'm mad, then I would love for you to point out what I've said that shows it. I've done nothing but respectfully share another viewpoint and I certainly haven't ripped Nicklaus in the process. You're getting a bit defensive for no good reason.

I’m watching the TCU Baylor baseball game and compared to the Tennessee players, these teams look like they’re in high school. Neither team has players with double digit home runs that I have seen.

I didn’t know until today that both Baylor and TCU were founded in Waco.

TCU moved to Fort Worth because the Baptists of Baylor burned the Waco TCU campus to the ground.

Really got no words to describe a self proclaimed religious college that could do something like that…

The rest, you can pretty much throw in a pile. I did like the Solo movie pretty well. Disney has screwed everything up with all of these disjointed series ( Mando, Ahsoka, etc). Just producing stuff to produce it.

Rogue one is by my favorite of the new story line…but the rise of Skylar walker was pushing rogue one because of the battle scenes not factoring in the scene where all of the prior Jedis voice overs were used during the fighting scene when Ren was battling Palpatine…I stood up in the theater, tears in my eyes bro…it was like my childhood flashed right before my eyes in a matter of 20 seconds and I was like yasssss “get his a$$”

That is what they say. A large heart with more muscle can pump harder and faster, which means it delivers more oxygen at a faster rate to the tissues. That means he doesn’t fatigue as fast. If his specialty is speed already and he doesn’t fatigue as fast due to that, then he can go faster for a longer period of time than other horses. That gives you what is the greatest of all time!

Just look at his win at the Belmont. Sham, a great racehorse, tried running with him for the entire time, and did for about 3 quarters; but, coming into and out of the last turn, and into the stretch, Sham started to fade, to the point of finishing dead last, as Big Red kept going. Sham exhausted completely running with him, and Secretariat didn't skip a beat. The endurance to stay at that pace is otherworldly!!

I mean, it's the reason it's probably the most amazing sports moment anyone has ever seen. I watched it again yesterday, and still got chills...and, I've seen it at least a hundred times.

I've really liked how slept on the Vols have been this offseason.

The best we've gotten is "well they have Nico, so they can sneak into the playoff" and that's it. Then they move onto UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, Texas and Mizzou. No one even considers for a second we could contend for an SEC title.

Feels like the 2022 offseason. Bodes well to me.

I was just reading about that in some TCU publications. Nowhere did it say or even suggest that Baylor started the fire. Lots of forums claim Baylor did it, and of course forum folks are the arbiters of truth, so yeah. Down with Baptists!
