Society tells women that they need big chests and big butts and tiny waists and and and.... in order to be beautiful. Sadly, many women believe those lies. That is part of the reason I pish posh when someone posts pics of a physically beautiful woman on here. The beauty of a woman comes from how she treats people and how she carries herself with grace and dignity. My wife is the most beautiful woman I know because of how caring and giving she is to others and how she always puts others before herself. Many of the women that society tells us are "beautiful" are the opposite of that and that is why they are "meh".

Thats ridiculous. Granted its a fine line. Ya dont want him to miss out. But 14 is young. No way i'm letting my 14 yo play professional sports, not even for $1B.

Id even let em play at 17, pref 18. if his grades are good. That's just too early.

Messi signed to Barcelona when he was 13. The best are identified early

Largest homegrown contract in MLS history. Also will join Manchester City when he turns 18. Unless he had issues getting a student visa he should have just skipped MLS and joined Manchester City’s academy now, imo. Playing against grown professionals as a 14 or 15 year old can either be great for your development, or terrible. Safer option, but just as effective, would have been to play against the top players in England and training in their academy. If he’s good enough then Europe is his future anyways. Get a start on it early.
I think it might be against international law for a minor to cross borders for work. I believe that’s why European teams sign young South American players and leave them there until their 18.

Reminds me of Freddie Adu for the U.S. He was supposed to be the second coming and was identified early.
Adu had the talent but not the work ethic and he also had some mental health issues that the clubs weren't equipped to address at that time. Proper guidance could've prevented his fall. He had successful stints when he'd get back into a good mindframe and was in a good setting then kinda collapse again. He had no support system so when he'd get transferred to a new club he'd lose the support and "family" he had at the old club.

Scouting has also improved a lot since then, not to mention the rumors that Adu was older than stated.

Each country has a different rule. He can't play in Man City until 18 because of English laws, but he can play at their affiliates in mainland Europe at 16. If he's performing well with the Union then ManU will probably call him up to one of those clubs at 16 then transfer to ManU at 18.

anyone have a need for a huge white oak tree that is now on the ground from yesterdays storms?
it would be good for sawmill because it is really straight and about 30 inches in diameter at the base.
of course firewood is also an option. It's free but you have to cut, load and haul it away.
