Jared Goff signs 4 year $212 million dollar extension with DETRIOT. $170 million guaranteed.

Sorry to say may be bad News for Hendon Hooker, Goff starts unless he gets injured over duration of contract.
Unbelievable that salaries have gotten that high..possibly over 50 million a year...in Detroit. Wow.

Just be ready and the most valuable backup you can be. Opportunity follows talent.

Interesting take

Wonder if Milton has any chance

I wonder if this is blown out of proportion. What Mayo said: ""He has a lot to work on. A lot to work on," Mayo said Saturday. "But I have no doubt that he will put the time in. He was here all night trying to get on the same page as everyone else."

Maybe Mayo is trying push him like an old school guy. Idk. But I doubt he meant it the way the TV guys, trying to get channel clicks, are construing it.

"The guy can sling it, man," said wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk, the second-round pick from the University of Washington. "He's very confident. He's a leader, very vocal; he's setting the tone in practice, trying to get guys moving around and operating at a high level."

Fourth-round pick Layden Robinson, a guard from Texas A&M, added: "I love his energy and intensity when he's in the huddle. So you've always got to bring your best energy, too."

The ESPN print reporter has almost the opposite take on the "a lot to work on" line. "First-year New England Patriots coach Jerod Mayo might not be as hard-lined as Bill Belichick when answering questions from reporters, but he delivered a Belichick-type response when asked his first impressions of quarterback Drake Maye at rookie minicamp."

I'm rooting for Mayo and also for Milton, of course.

The tweet is funny but it shows a big problem that helicopter parents at their most psychotic have created.

Idk why kids can’t be competitive or play with actual balls and bats. how are they supposed to get good at it if they can’t play the sport competitively and how it’s going to be played when they’re older? Just setting kids up to fail that might’ve actually been talented enough to get somewhere.

One issue is Maye has always been in the shot gun at QB and adjusting to under center is a battle right now.

“Home runs not allowed” is a bit like saying “duck-hooks out of bounds not allowed.”
