Yeah, I never thought of that before! Being too good can hurt your stats. If it’s for SEC player of the year then SEC stats should matter more.If you go by full season stats, the UGA kid.
In-conference stats, C-MO by far.
Never considered the "lost innings" angle, very interesting. Doubt that's thought of, but we and the uni should push that reminder (not that these awards mean a ton, but to the player it could mean a lot).

Nah. We're gonna win a title this year or next, maybe both or 3-4yrs in a row, without any special assistance.Would you give up all the success in these other sports for a football SEC championship?
What about a national championship?
And the other sports are mid pack - not the worst but certainly not winning much of anything.
