How important are walk ons? The new NCAA and SEC stuff is that they are thinking about (among other things) banning all walk ons (anyone over the scholarship limit. Perhaps the scholarship limit would rise to 90 or 95, but maybe not. What are the football implications?

They're around, but it will never be as cool as it was seeing the very first of some technologies. The briefcase cellphones, pocket computers, etc. Seeing the static globe send a bolt of lightning where ever you touched it was pretty cool too. Let's not forget about their assortment of lava lamps either, 😂.

Remember the long range sonic bionic (parabolic) listening devices?
The one in Newland sells Vape😆

My father in law has one of these. Still works.
I had a Apple printer back in the days of Mac Plus model. That thing ran forever without any issues of any kind at all. What finally happened is that Apple stopped making the cartridges. (I always supposed they replaced it so that they could sell new printers.) Later aftermarket people stopped making the cartridges. Otherwise, I would prolly still be using it decades later in all cases where color wasn't required. It's not often required imo. I think about that every time a printer has to be replaced now, which is ridiculously often. It's like companies are selling disposables.

Vitello is gonna be the highest paid coach in the country by August. . . one way or another.
Would basically take a 70%+ raise.

Would be a little crazy jmo. But the market will dictate I suppose. Just hard to imagine baseball coaches are going to start shooting to the moon just because ole Corbin is up in the stratosphere after multiple NCs.

I do think he's undoubtedly inline to become #2 very soon.

You know the old joke about a speaker asking for a show of hands as to how often people have sex. Every day? Some people raise their hands. Every week? A lot of hands. Every month? Hands. Once a year? There is one guy in the back, waving both hands wildly and hopping up and down. Why are you so happy if you only have sex once a year?

Because today is the day.

I tell my classes that the computers when I was in elementary school had programs on audio cassettes.
"What's a computer?"

"Well it was like a really big phone"

"What's a program?"

"Dear lord, it's like an app"

"What's a cassette?"

"It was like an ipod"

"What's an ipod?"

"It's like a CD."

"What's a CD?"

"Vinyl record?"

"Oh we love those!"

No chance. Where are all these national championships for Texas while they've been playing in a FAR, FAR easier conference than the SEC?
Unfortunately, they now have a good offensive coach that has QBs and plenty of money to spend so they will get better and better. But they will also find themselves playing against teams that can beat them every week which takes a toll….unless you’re the chosen for the year to be protected to get to the playoffs. Have to see if they will be…???

Had a Brother green and white bar printer.

Imagine taking the logic back then, into today's classroom.

Ode Skoo

'CPU's are the future, so learn to type on them.'

'That's awesome, could we use that thing to type out a paper, and print it off?'

'No no, we can only type 1's and 0's'

'Just write it in cursive.'

Millenials

'My Apple doesnt have a jump drive, totes had to go to my neighbor and borrow the 'net, to googes-drive the paper to the teach.'

'Can you write it in cursive?'

'What is that?'
