Man, when I was at UT a few decades back, I got towed for unpaid parking tickets on Phillip Fulmer Way right across from, what's that, Gate 21?

There were metered spaces all along the street there back then and I often used them when I was in a hurry (which was a lot). But I wasn't great about keeping the meter fed, or paying the tickets.

Damnedest thing though, they must have been looking for me though because when I found my car missing from where I parked it there was still time on the meter. No other reason for them to notice it. lol I thought it had been stolen.

For those extremely worried about our defensive backfield, just remember it could be worse. Tonight, NC State had walk-on graduate students at safety, and one of their receivers had an extra jersey in case he needed to sub in at safety because their scholarship guys are injured and they lost their starting safety to targeting during the game.

This is what we get for laughing at Mertz all off-season. He ends up being one of the most accurate passers in the country. Honestly surprised Rattler isn’t on this list.

Mertz completions are like Joe's this season. They have been short quick passes. The difference is that Joe's are that way because of our OL struggles whereas Mertz has been a high completion short passer his entire career. Mertz didn't beat us with his arm. Poor tackling and officials not calling holds on UF's big runs combined with an equally frustrating offense beat us. A lot went wrong that game but ultimately we lost that game at the LOS - both sides of it.

Meh....he is playing like we do at the Swamp. The Gators don't ever have to do very much to win....just get out of the way by not doing stupid stuff to beat themselves, and watch us shoot ourself over and over on O and D....well ourself and the officials.

Not this one, Brohm is a pro at adjusting during the game. Despite sloppy play still came out with a great road win.

Doeren reminds me of a Kelly-lite. All that said, interesting how both coaches were almost Vols HFCs, if not for fan intervention and Jiminy's premature reporting. No doubt either would have been an upgrade over Butch or Pruitt. But I think both would have maxed us out as a 8-9 win team. I think Heup has a higher ceiling. Floor is TBD.

I like Joe...but I don't believe in him anymore...there is just way too much evidence at this point that he just doesn't have "it"...
