LSU jumping on UK early....already changed pitchers, batted around already, top of 2nd. i think this may be one of those days where if UK doesn't get some slugging, they may be in trouble.....of course it's still way early and 2 runs can be overcome. just, early returns...not great for the 1st losers of the regular season.

Gotta have tough skin, athletes are weak these days.

Bottle fed babies.
Tough skin? 😂 Nothing about that is weak. You only get that sort of terror when you also have that level of competitive drive.

If the pitcher has a lot of passion for the sport and a big competitive drive (which he surely does being a D1 pitcher), giving up a walk-off homer to your most hated rival that also ends your season is gonna hurt, for a while.

Bottle fed babies. Pitchers give up game winning homeruns everyday.

It's nothing new besides the guy standing there crying like a baby.

Agree to disagree. You believe the guys going need 6 months worth of therapy.

I believe he needs to flush it and move on.
Any athlete on the planet would hurt after that. You can move on and keep playing (except he can't 😂), but they will not forget that if they're any kind of serious athlete at all.

Hard to believe that you're saying athletes shouldn't feel the pain of defeat. Why even play if the pain of defeat doesn't match the thrill of victory? I guess players shouldn't remember their massive victories and carry the thrill of triumph for many years?

Yeah I'm a cold hearted sob.

Good morning VN! I know I’ve not been around as often as I used to, life’s been busier than usual this last year or so. But I’m still lurking as often as I can :)

I was wondering if y’all could help out with a few bucks.

We’re trying to raise our last $1800 - It's a long story about how my sports-loving son got into Bible quizzing, but it turns out he's pretty good at it! He just made a regional team to represent the East Coast at the national competition in San Diego, CA this summer. His local team is a little short of raising enough money to fly him and his teammates out there- if you have a few bucks to donate I'd appreciate it! GBO!
