Tough skin?Gotta have tough skin, athletes are weak these days.
Bottle fed babies.
Bottle fed babies. Pitchers give up game winning homeruns everyday.Tough skin?Nothing about that is weak. You only get that sort of terror when you also have that level of competitive drive.
If the pitcher has a lot of passion for the sport and a big competitive drive (which he surely does being a D1 pitcher), giving up a walk-off homer to your most hated rival that also ends your season is gonna hurt, for a while.
Any athlete on the planet would hurt after that. You can move on and keep playing (except he can'tAgree to disagree. You believe the guys going need 6 months worth of therapy.
I believe he needs to flush it and move on.
Yeah I'm a cold hearted sob.Any athlete on the planet would hurt after that. You can move on and keep playing (except he can't), but they will not forget that if they're any kind of serious athlete at all.
Hard to believe that you're saying athletes shouldn't feel the pain of defeat. Why even play if the pain of defeat doesn't match the thrill of victory. I guess players shouldn't remember their massive victories and carry the thrill of triumph for many years?
My wife has never saw it before and was watching it on tv. I rented it on Prime so she could watch the unedited version. Great movie.View attachment 642319
