What do you mean weez? How does the batter protect him?

Stay in the box and try to hit the ball, rather than bailing and leaving the runner a sitting duck. Even a foul ball saves the runner.

The pitcher got called for a balk and the catcher got called for interference for moving out of his box. They're reading the rules on the broadcast and it looks like the right call, even though it's an unreviewable play.

The LSU head coach also got ejected.

LSU is also protesting the play. Whatever that means. It looks like the catcher's knee hit home plate.




*Basically, TN/vandy might get to play around 6-6:30, Knoxville time.
