Remember you’re not getting any younger. Stress is real. Don’t let it be real, if you catch my drift

All I can suggest is to talk to him and not at him.
He’s 16 and therefore can work in a small capacity. Tell him to get a gig at fast food and chip in with the bills.
It's like the boy raised himself. His mom died when he was 3, and his dad is a career felon that's never been in his life. My in-laws don't seem to have given him any life tools or skills. I'm having to try and speed run 16 years of basic life lessons as quickly as possible. I've raised 3 boys to adulthood and he's given more headaches in less than 2 months than all 3 of my boys combined over their lifetime.
